Celtrino Selected for EU Funding
Celtrino have been selected by the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) of the EU to upgrade its digital services infrastructure to support the exchange and processing of the new European Norm for e-invoicing, using the latest eDelivery components including AS4 and SMP.
As a PEPPOL-Certified EDI provider, Celtrino is introducing this new European e-invoicing standard to Ireland. Celtrino PEPPOL enables companies to seamlessly discover e-trading capability of partners and to advertise their own capabilities for painless transition to digital business.
The initiative is a significant step on the road to a more digitally integrated Europe.
The goal for Celtrino is align our e-delivery services with the requirements of the eIDAS Regulation (Electronic Identification and Trust Services), which standardises digital signatures to create a safe and secure European Digital Single Market.
As a result, Celtrino customers will be able to trade effortlessly with European public and private sector partners. This is a co-financed project of the European Union.
It allows Celtrino customers to carry out digital transactions in a legally secure and safe manner both in Ireland and across EU Member States.
Celtrino is working with the following 7 Irish innovative companies to get set up for e-invoicing according to the European Norm with their trading partners:
These Celtrino customers will play a substantial role in contributing to a more integrated Europe where invoices can be exchanged electronically and will achieve more effective trade with overseas partners.
The overall action will also promote the overall use of the eDelivery components around Ireland.
